Autumn Purple Light (ALVERDE Makeup)

Hi guys,

recently I've got a chance to try out some of the latest/newest Alverde Organic/Natural makeup products (4-eyeshadow palette, concealer and mono-eyeshadow) and here's my makeup review & idea/look:

All products closed & open:

Review:

My first impression was "A great green/organic packaging and great pigmentation!" BUT unfortunately my second impression after trying out was "Oh the Concealer is quiet good, not the best one I've ever tried out but for an organic makeup pretty lasts long and a high pigmentation - great shade (Caramel) for middle skin tone or for light skin tone after sun bath/summer too!"

But both Eyeshadows fail in lasting! - As after a 7 or 8 hour work day your shades aren't on the right place like before you're making them fresh and they are loosing in brightness and high pigmentation! I also must say, that every eyeshadow from the palette and the mono one aren't waterproof! That makes it really hard to wear during fall/autumn as if it's rainin' and you're outside - it can happen, that it will ruin your look a bit earlier:(

But the concealer last a bit longer:)! It's a great product I would say for each of you - who like natural/organic makeup alternatives and the eyeshadows aren't too bad but not the best one, for a weekend makeup style it's enough BUT not for an high-end eye makeup result!

Also the packaging of the Quattro-Eyeshadow isn't the best one as you can see above - there are tiny but seen able openings/holes - which cut the life period of the eyeshadows! (as the air/dewiness can come in!).

So here's my makeup idea/inspiration:

I hope you like it a bit and let me know, which experience you've with Alverde or other natural/organic makeup brands?

Pumpkin Spice Carrot Soup (RECIPE)

Hi guys,

I'd like to show you an easy and simple recipe, how to use your (pumpkin) spice and to create from simple fresh carrots a lovely spicy and perfect fall/autumn soup!

What you'll need:

5-8 fresh carrots (depends on how thick they are:)!), 1 pinch of sea salt, 1-2 teaspoon of Herbaria "Kürbiskönig" pumpkin spice or another one like: mcCormick, 1 slicer (be careful - I've cut myself twice:() oh and of course 1 small pot. - The two tomatoes where just on the wrong place:) - I've eaten them while I was preparing the soup - I was SO HUNGRY:).

By the way Herbaria "Kürbiskönig" pumpkin spice contains:

coco*, common salt*,  garlic*, ginger*, curcuma*, paprika/sweet pepper*, cinnamon*, cumin*, coriander*, cardamom*, black pepper*, vanilla and cayenne pepper* - (*organical grown ingredients) and some fresh or dry thyme for garnish!

It's great for all kinds of pumpkin meals, soups and stews but it match perfectly with zucchini, carotts and root vegetable! - So it was really great to use it for my soup:)

The tin contains 90 g of this special pumpkin spice and it's a stackable tin with flavor protection. Stackable means, that if you've more spices from their brand Herbaria you'll be able to stack them on each other!

But back to my "Pumpkin Spice Carrot Soup" recipe:

What you've to do?:

1. Put the fresh cut carrots in your small/tiny pot:), add all spices (without thyme!) and ad 2-3 glass/small cups of water. Put it on your cooktop/hot plate and let it cook. (on the highest point!)

2. After you've let it boil for 7-10 min. turn the heat down (half the heat) and let it simmer under the lid until all carrots are soft and easy to bruise/mash them in tiny pieces!

3. Fill it in small glass bowls like I've done or in your fav' bowl/plate and sprinkle a dash of thyme over the whole soupe! - Bon Appetite!:)

I've let me inspired by this recipe "Carrot Ginger Soup" and "Roasted Carrot&Tomato Soup".

How did you find my first result? - Would you like to try it out too?

Wish you a wonderful great new monday & a new start!

New Fashion In - MAJORCA

Hi guys,

my last post about Majorca is finally here:( - and I'm sad as this means, that now I'll write more about autumn and other topics, which are definitely NOT about summer:( O.K. I'm also exciting for the next months, what will change, what I'll escape and reach and what will turn another way  - you know, don't be sad about Summer 2013 is gone! the next months will be  surely exciting too - we must just think POSITIVE!:)

Now let begin my post about my last fashion piece's I've bought in Porto Pi and Centre of Majorca!:

I've fall in love with their underwear and pajamas!:) REALLY totally embrassing and wonderful to see such lovely places - where to buy some sweet, natural or not too vibrant bras/briefs etc.!

Now I know, that some of you won't be excited and won't like such a brief as I've bought - BUT SORRY I can't leave them there! They were to cute to leave them with this ice cream cones:) (Prize: 6.99€)

There's their latest autumn collection 2013 vid'.

2. Sfera - a spanish clothes brand, which sells at El Corte Ingles or in their own Sfera shops:

I bought myself a middle-thick sweater/long shirt with lovely details on the back (two buttons and the elbow decor) from the basic time! collection by sfera, which definitely looks better as on the picture here (as I'm still using my old cam or IPAD2:() but it's definitely a high-quality product, as it doesn't look like a cheap one BUT it was really a low price for such a quality!:) (12.99€)

Than I saw this really cute golden necklace with a paper aeroplane/paper plane charm (3.00€) - it will still reminds me on this Summer 2013 and hopefully be a lucky charm!:)

Here I'm wearing it at home - it's great and suits perfectly with the autumn outfit too!:

Sfera reminds me a bit like the "little" sis' of ZARA - as the clothes range and style is really similar and the price range is similar too (you get basics for e.g. 7.99 but also chic/designer for 70€ up!)

3. ZARA Haul:

As ZARA is a spanish clothes brand/fashion brand - it's a LOT better to do your shopping their! As the prices are lower and you'll get on a SALE day a discount for some products up to 80%!

I've found myself a lovely cream white (wool) shirt (Original Price: 39.95€, Spain Original Price: 29.95€ - Reduced Price: 7.99€) - which is a bit thicker than normal t-shirts and perfect for colder days too! and a great pink middle-long skirt (Original Price: 39.95€, Spain Original: 29.95€ - Reduced Price: 12.99€) (my first middle-long one - unless I'm wearing more mini-shorts and skirts not really:)):

4. Stradivarius:

This modern/dynamic fashion brand was too on my "Shopping List" to Majorca! But I must say, the shoes they sell are good in quality and they've a bright range of cool t-shirt, sweater basics BUT the other part isn't really my choice/taste! - But it is a great opportunity, while you stay in Majorca or in Spain to visit one of their shops!

I've bought myself a short coral/peach top for 4.95€ and these lovely ballerina shoes for 17.95€! They are really cute and not bad in quality - what I mean is they looks definitely not cheap on your feet!:)

Watch their latest making of magazine collection vid' called "In The Forest".

5. SIX Jewelry/Accessoires:

When I've finally broken my fav' sunglasses BEFORE we've took the plane to Majorca, I've flew away without any glasses - and after JUST two days out at the sun I've began to search for some glasses - which is pretty hard in late August/September!:) So I was lucky to find such gorgeous sunglasses for a really low price (12.95€) in the centre of Palma at SIX.

They are from their "Vintage Collection" range and I've totally fall in love with the thin metal body and the semi/medium-dark glasses! I just love them - as you can see below:):

6. When we were walking through the old part of Palma their were a LOT of old small boutiques and one of them has special sale - where I've ultimatively bought this pink/bright neon light pink shirt with lovely details for JUST 4.99€! and it's made in Italy:)

Also from Polinesia (Porto Pi Palma) I've got this oversized (Size: SMALL) pink/neon shirt with the sign "Welcome to Los Angeles Venice Beach USA" - this is an ULTIMATIVE SUMMER HAPPY MOOD SHIRT!:) for 4.99€.

(Left: Right: pink/bright neon light pink shirt from Italy)

7. Ulanka Shoes:

We've searched with my mum for some shoes too:)! (of course, as Italy and Spain has REALLY high-quality shoes for summer and winter! the soles and fabric is high-quality and the price is lower than in other european countries I would say!) And so we went through different shops until we found Ulanka and lucky we've got a SALE day!:) Oh I've fall in love with this leather natural wedge sandals (from SISSEI) and they costs original almost 49€ and after SALE JUST 9.99€!

8. Playa de Palma cotton dress store (Made in Italy) I've bought myself this white/cotton dress the second day after I've fall in love the first day we've arrived!:) And it's totally cozy and lovely to wear as it's light, not transparent and has cute details!

Me wearing it under the old huge tree in the middle of one market in Palma:):

So that's my whole clothes/shoe/accessoire haul from Majorca!:) I hope you'll have a wonderful weekend and let me know, which of this pieces you would like to wear too!:)

Majorca Part 4: What I've bought

Hi guys,

as I've ALL the time something to do, BUT won't reduce the time spending on one of my loveliest places (of course my blog and our all space:)!) I've finally made some pic's about my haul, which I've made in Majorca!
First I've seen this cute (child) mug from the Zara Home Kids collection with safari/african animals like: Lion, Zebra, Elephant  or Giraffe in a lovely vintage optic/look! - I totally fall in love and it was SOOOO CHEAP! (3.99€)

The second "first love" was this scent and the flacon/bottle of this child cologne/eau de toilette called "Sweet Perfume Eau de Cologne" . It's a nice luxury/vintage packaging and great for us young ladies and of course middle-age adult too! A not tooo light but soft and middle-strong scent - I would say it's for little girls tooo much but for my age just right sometimes:)! (Scent: citrus, flower, sweet like Vanilla and Tonka Bean) (100ml 12.99€)

And than I've got last but not least a cute and pretty vintage look small cosmetic bag  with cute little puppy (from mommy:) - thank's!) also from the ZARA Home Kids collection and it's made in Britain (Brand: Catseye) I can't wait to use it for short trips or just as my daily needed beauty case:)! (14 x 20 x 7 cm 12.99€)

2. Carrefour & Mercadona (Supermarkets):

As I'm a HUGE tea lover and like to try out different new and unknown brands and flavours in different countries - where I'm just travelling through or stay for a while I've bought on my vacation in Majorca 3 different teas, which I've NOT tried out until I've seen them there! 1. Pompadour "Te Rojo" (similar to Teekanne) it's red tea with pineapple and coconut flavour - really fruity and I quite like it - unless I DON'T like or love to drink red teas as they have their typical scent and flavour which I'm not a fan of BUT this one is pretty delicious!:)

2. Hacendado is the brand name of Mercadona's tea range - a cheaper version of other brand name teas BUT I must say, this cold tea versions (you use cold water instead of hot!) are the best I've ever tried out until yet! - As they don't contain any kind of sugar (and I don't like sugar in my teas as sugar isn't just unhealthy in big amount but it makes each tea really similar in flavour/scent!), agave syrup, stevia etc. and also don't any preservatives! I've bout the version "Green Tea with pineapple and coconut" and "Rooibos Tea with carrots and mandarine/tangerine".

3. Le Petite Marseillais is a french cosmetic brand for bath care (shower gels, body lotion etc.) and you can find their products almost in each supermarket, shopping centres like El Corte Ingles or well sorted drugstores/perfumeries in Majorca! I've found that the shower gel "Peach & Nectarine" smells really fresh and fruity and it's great for a happy mood during the cold fall/autumn 2013 too!:)

At Mercadona I've found their own makeup range looks pretty too! - They've such a huge collection of different makeup products and especially their lipsticks are well-colored and pigmented! I've bought and tried out their MATE lipstick in shade:12 - it's a matte (as the name says:)) not shimmery/glimmery lipstick, which last until 4 hours. That's not a long time but for the price of 4.99€ it's an absolutely recommended product as it's like the texture of some NYX or MAC lipsticks! You can find a further preview by this blogger!

Review:

4. El Corte Ingles:

This big shopping area is similar too: Harrod's (UK) or Blooming Dales (NY)! - It contains/sells differnt high-end and luxury brands like e.g. handbags: Long Champ, Tod's, Bric's etc. BUT of course a normal supermarket, and cheaper brands oh and a Sephora perfumery is inside the shopping area too!

I've found this GAL glycerine hand soap is a pretty dupe to shea butter hand soap from L'Occitane! I know, it's not shea butter but the bottle design is really similar and the quality is pretty the same!

5. Douglas:

I've been searching to try out J&J's baby cologne for a while, as it's great after sport, work or bath to take a small amount of it and massage it into your neck or on differnt parts of your body - it will stay a longer time as you maybe though! Great fresh scent (I've just bought the travel version:()

I've also found that after I've got a nice light tan on my pale/light skin, that my feet need a bit color too! So I went to one of the local perfumeries on Playa de Palma and bought myself a nail polish bottle from Astor (the Fashion Studio Collection) in the shade: 240 Yellow Buttercup.

After we've been browsing through different small cozy streets in Palma we've found just in a corner in the center a great middle-size high-end and drugstore brand perfumery called Xarig Perfumeries (a great review HERE) where I've bought from the brand RARE Nails a cuticle Oil, which has a strong citrus and fresh scent but I quiet like it to use in evening/during my home spa pampering. And I've bought from a spanish brand called "By The FACE Make Up" a lovely jeans shimmery blue shade: 34. This color is great for Autum too!

RARE Nails is a new nail polish brand and I think it's a really luxury and high-end packaging, for a really good price (4.99€).

There I've bought an Alvarez Gomez Madrid Aqua Colonia Concentrada travel set too! - And must say the classic fresh citrus, herbal scent from this well-known classic spanish cologne company since 1899! is now one of my fav' for summer and pre-fall! This set is great for beginners/tourists who wanna try out some good longterm spanish body care/cologne! It's also really good in price - I've paid just 2.50€!

At the Palma Aeropuerto (airport:)) I've bought myself a Soja Fresa Frappuccion at Starbucks, and went to one of their cafeterias there (I'm sorry I forgot the name - BUT here's a full list of some cafes and stops at Palma) - where I've bought myself a small Nestle CRUNCH chocolate bar (pretty expensive for 2.50€ a small ca. 50g!) And the Calvin Klein "Euphoria edp" I've got as a sample at Douglas:)

Another typical (food) product, which you should definitely try and buy in Spain is their own sea salt range! I've bought a natural/plain fleur de sal from SOSO, they've also the flavours: mediterranean-herb, rosa, saffron, spicy, sweet and tuna. They are all made in Spain (Murcia). But they also offer Hawaiian Black Salt, Classic Sea Salts, and Chef's Select ones.

And last but not least I've bough myself for autumn a lovely "Cacao Soluble"/"Breakfast Chocolate" from
El Barco Delice Chocolatery since 1905, which is also a product of Spain!:
It contains:
Sugar, cocoa powder, Salt, Cinnamon and vanilla aroma

I think, that I've done a LOT "food/other stuff as fashion" shopping and hope you'll return to see my fashion haul soon!
